The governorship Candidate of the Action Congress (AC) in Ekiti State, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has condoled with the families of former Health Commissioner and chairman of the state Health Management Board, Dr. Sola Babalola and others who lost their lives in a motor accident few days ago.

In a condolence letter, Fayemi expressed sadness over the loss of prominent indigenes of Ekiti in one fell swoop, saying "only the Creator knows why some things happen the way they do."

He said he grieved over the death of the citizens who are needed for the development of the state, especially Babalola, whose invaluable contribution to health care delivery would be hard to fill.

Fayemi urged the bereaved families to accept the fate, which he said they could not change, noting that the good things said about Babalola showed that he did not die in vain.
